Many students come to my store to buy laptops. They don’t need anything too fancy. Basically, they need something to write articles and surf the Internet. So it’s always interesting to see what kind of laptop they end up with.
Some people buy an ugly cheap laptop that will get the job done and others spend hundreds of dollars more just to make it look good. I am not judging you. It is interesting to note.
However, some parents will not buy a nice laptop for their children. They buy the cheapest laptop that will get the job done. They don’t care how it looks.
If you are one of those students who has to get by with an ugly laptop, here is a way to make it a little more enjoyable. Go online and search for laptop skins. These are large stickers that cover the top of your laptop.
You can get a solid color or you can choose a pattern or image. They usually have a library that you can choose from. This is an inexpensive way to make your laptop look a little better.
Here’s another tip: Many of the companies also allow you to design your own laptop sleeve. You can upload your own image, print it and send it. Maybe upload your school logo and show your school spirit. Or upload a photo of your dog or a drawing by your favorite artist. It’s up to you.
Just be careful when applying the skin. You don’t want air bubbles. Those look really tacky. Take a look at YouTube for some great tutorials. They will show you some tricks so that the skin is applied perfectly.
So don’t worry if your laptop looks boring. You can give it a facelift in just a few minutes by simply ordering a laptop sleeve of your choice! You may not have the best laptop in school, but at least it will be yours.
