Starcraft 2 Terran Strategy – 1v1 Marine Rush

Here we are using a method called cheesing technique for Terran Race of Starcraft 2. This type of method will target the use of a proxy (meaning any build developed outside of your base). The concept in this case is to do this with Barracks and Reactor to rush the Marines early on.

The most important thing to keep in mind when doing this is to be aware of where you place your buildings so opponents don’t spot them. In case you get spotted anyway, your first goal should be to not lose your Builder SCV.

If your opponent goes for an early Roach, Stalker, or Reaper run, you may very well be at risk of losing the battle. Keep this in mind, try scouting the region with your SCV builder to find out if it has defensive units or not. If he doesn’t, you should go for a push.

Here is the build order for this Starcraft 2 game:

1. Until you reach the limit of 8, you should focus on building SCV.

2. Move an SCV to the base opponent. Keep training until you get to that, which should be around 9 or 10 ch.

3. Find a decently hidden and well-positioned spot near your opponents’ base to build a refinery and barracks.

4. Unless you get to ten caps, only train SCV. And then, place a supply depot and train another SCV.

5. You’re going to need 50 gas for just one Reactor, so as soon as the Refinery is complete, you’ll need to move multiple SCVs there.

6. Hopefully you should have enough gas and minerals to build the Reactor for the Barracks right now. Do this.

7. Get a Bunker at your proxy location for extra defense.

8. As soon as your Reactor is ready, it’s time to start training Marines and take them to the Bunker.

9. By the time you reach the limit of 15, you must have four Marines in the Bunker. You currently need to build an Orbital Command on your main. Do this and keep training more Marines.

10. You currently have 2 options available. You can do a bunker line on your main enemy or do some hit and run attacks with the four marines already stationed in the bunker.

11. Always keep building on your main while still harassing your opponent frequently. If everything you needed went right, you now have more units than your enemy. So just keep pushing and make sure he doesn’t have any counter units against the marines.

Then you certainly have several possible alternatives to continue. One is to go for siege tanks and marines. In that case, take some SCVs with you to repair them, and maybe get some Marauders for the mix.
