Tea "Clunker" Bill for Cars: Will this destroy many of America’s muscle cars?

Future generations may not be able to buy cars that are part of their youth, as older people can. Most of us can buy cars that we drove in our teens, which are the old classic muscle cars. There is a new bill that has passed the “junk” bill, this is where the government will give refunds if it delivers the cars that don’t get great gas mileage.

If you trade in a “junk” for a newer car that gets better gas mileage, you may qualify for that rebate.

What they consider a junk is a gas guzzler, which is a vehicle that gets less than 18 MPG. This would cover many SUVs, trucks, and sports cars. This could cover many of the classic vehicles and vehicles that can be considered classics in a few years off the road permanently.

Cars are part of our history. Cars have always had a weakness in many of our heats and souls, what will happen to these vehicles that they consider junk? For this bill to pass, the merchants would have to crush them and get the junk off the roads. This bill is designed to replace older car models that you expect to be 1984 or later with newer fuel efficient vehicles that will get better gas mileage. This will take many reliable vehicles off the road that are not only classics, but will be desirable in the future as sought after by car collectors.
