Before services can be provided under this program, each applicant must undergo a PAS test. The purpose of this test is to confirm that long-term care services are needed and that the applicant cannot function without them.
Once approval has been given, ALTCS services can be provided in the individual’s home or while in a nursing home or other type of facility that provides assisted living services.
