Through Cat’s Eyes: A Christmas Letter with an Unusual Point of View

Would you like to write your annual Christmas letter with an unusual point of view? Here’s a Christmas letter template you can adapt that is written as seen through your cat’s eyes. Just fill in the blanks with your own story and mail it to all your friends and family. If you have another favorite pet, you can improvise to accommodate that animal. For added fun, include a postage stamp with a photo of your pet (available online) or sign it with your pet’s paw print.

Cheers!

It’s that time of year to wish everyone a Meowy Christmas. I hope everyone has had a perfectly wonderful past year. I had a year that was the cat’s meow! Let me tell you all about this.

This year my owner celebrated ______. Special guests attended, including ______, and everyone had a great time, categorically speaking.

On vacation, my owner went to ______. I missed getting scratched behind my ears during the time they were gone, but the story they told about ______ was more entertaining than catnip.

And speaking of notable stories, guess who was on the runway last year? _____ received an award for ______. He was proud to be a part of that day. It was milk and honey for everyone!

The rest of the year has literally been busier than all of my last nine lifetimes. ______ is involved with ______ and that doesn’t leave me much to do but play games of cat and mouse. It’s good that he enjoys naps because ______ plans to ______. I get tired just thinking about it.

Well, that’s the news from my eyes. I’ve had a blessed year of content, free from irritating hairballs. I’m curious what you’re up to and hope to hear from you soon.

Have a terribly wonderful New Year. I’m so excited it’s like cat scratch fever around here.

From you feline friend,
