Men are not always easy to understand. As women, most of us are guilty of wanting to stay in close contact with the man we’re dating. This means we enjoy hearing from him over the phone, text, and even email. It can be discouraging and disappointing when a man says he’ll get in touch and then doesn’t. If your boyfriend doesn’t call when he says he will, there are a few things you can do that will encourage him to be more forthcoming.

If a woman repeatedly tells a man that she didn’t do what she said she would, she will begin to feel like a failure. Men don’t want to be seen that way by the women they love. If you mentioned it once and he still can’t find the time to call you when he says she will, you need to take a new approach.

This means not calling him for the entire day that she said he would call. If you haven’t heard from him yet, don’t call him the next day either.
