In addition, teams can also use label policies to set a default sensitivity level for users creating a new team. You can even enable a “Record private” option in the context menu of a clip, allowing you to record a conversation without being recorded yourself.
Additionally, the ability to mark a clip as private helps you limit the number of people who can view and download a clip. This feature is especially useful when collaborating with external partners, such as vendors or clients. Another risk associated with sharing sensitive information over Teams is that it can be difficult to determine who’s viewing and/or editing your conversations and files. This can lead to mistrust or even litigation in the case of a data breach.
The best way to mitigate this risk is to make sure that you’re using a security solution with granular permission controls. TAG’s teamtag features include a permissions tab where you can configure the settings of every tag that you’ve created. This can be done on a per-tag basis, meaning that you can have certain tags be public while others are restricted to a specific group of individuals.
