2. In the 1970s, Honda entered the production of tricycles and quadricycles that were modeled on their motorcycles.

3. Suzuki is recognized as a leader in the advancement of all-terrain vehicles or quads and in 1982 the first all-terrain vehicle (QuadRunner LT125) was sold as an entry-level recreational vehicle.

4. The first ATVs were very different from the modern quads we have today. Some of them originally came with 6 wheels. They were so stripped down that these vehicles didn’t have taillights until 1998 when they were required to have them. It wasn’t until the HONDA Rubicon was put into production that ATVs came equipped with GPRS.

5. The introduction of Honda’s FourTrax TRX350 4X4 ATV in 1986 paved the way for the now popular four-wheel drive ATVs.

6. By the time the ’90s rolled around, people were discovering that ATVs have the potential to be useful and powerful work vehicles, and they’ve been commonly seen on farms ever since. Eventually golf carts and airport baggage tractors were modeled after the four-wheeled bicycle with modified specifications to serve a special purpose.

7. Quads are classified into three categories, road legal, off-road, and utility. The circulation permits are the ones that must be registered and can be driven on public roads, of course, with a driver’s license. Off-road quads are those used for recreation, farming, and other activities on rough terrain. Public services are used both for the road and for work.

8. Australian Matt Coulter set a world record for the longest jump on a quad. The date was April 17, 200 when he jumped over 14 Honda CRVs with a distance of 134 feet.

9. Jon Geutter of Minnesota was the first person to successfully perform a backflip on a four-wheel bicycle.

10. Parking and maneuvering is easier on a quad at slow speeds. The rear wheels of the vehicle actually move in the opposite direction as the front wheels.

You have already tasted some interesting facts about this vehicle; now is the time to experience the true thrill of quad biking. Years of innovating and improving these amazing bikes have resulted in a very popular action adventure sport.
