If you look at British footwear today (sneaker culture, not in general), we haven’t seen many major advances in the last decade. The “TST shoe” levels the playing field from expensive sneakers and carries a cachet that other sneakers in its class don’t. The artistry behind these sneakers can only be described as remarkable.
These shoes are the result of constant research by renowned shoe designer seishi tanaka. He understands that this boy’s shoes are all made of the most expensive material and incorporate pure artistry into their design and technique. His shoes are like Bentley’s shoes, literally. Sishi says that he always puts the design first on paper, drawn by hand. Using the design he comes up with the shoe. “TST Shoes” is a totally own project, a pure collection inspired by technology and tradition.
The company hasn’t started flooding the world yet, so the Chinese haven’t seriously started smuggling it in yet. So if you find any of these shoes by entering “TST Footwear” into Google, your options may be slim. This is great because it tells us that the collection is still pure and has not been breached or hacked by the marketplace.
As for me, I’m going to go with the TST Leather Chukka Boot. I love its suede leather on the outside and over all the slumped look. It reminds me of something out of an Anime cartoon every time I see them. If not, it’s the split-toe canvas sneaker, which looks a lot like the Chukka boot, except it’s canvas. These two are the best of the collection in my opinion.
