positive and negative

positives

  • Good variety of stats and prizes.
  • Leveling up as standard
  • sort function
  • No disconnections have been experienced
  • The maps are very well designed and varied (although there are a limited number of maps, see the negatives). There is a good mix of indoor/outdoor action.
  • Five types of weapons with upgrades on each weapon.
  • More weapons are unlocked as you level up.
  • Over the shoulder shooting system works well, similar style to Resident Evil 5
  • The cover system is easy to pick up, which complements the tactical features of the matches.
  • The duration of the games is almost correct
  • You can change your weapon when you are in the base, you don’t need to die to change your main weapon
  • A very welcome change from the typical shoot ’em up, which is to say, there is a niche in the market for over-the-shoulder, third-person, cover-based shoot ’em ups. It certainly works for Gears of War 2
  • You can change the loadout of weapons and the appearance of the character.

negatives

  • Only 6 maps in TDM and LMS
  • Only 2 maps on target
  • only 3 modes
  • Difficulty finding a game in Objective and LMS
  • If you’re looking for a fast-paced multiplayer shooter in the Black Ops mold, this isn’t for you.
  • It would have been nice to have a Black Ops-like ‘killstreak’ system with Bond type gadgets eg exploding pens and Little Nell
  • Goldeneye 007 on Wii is a more satisfying experience overall, despite the graphical limitations of Nintendo’s console compared to PS3 and Xbox 360.
  • Although the maps are based on the Blood Stone game, it would be nice to have some locations from various Bond movies to play as well.
  • Also, since some of the gameplay parts in the game are vehicle-based (car, speedboat, etc.), why not integrate this into multiplayer modes, like the idea of Rally in Halo Reach?
  • Sometimes there is a short delay when a kill shot is fired and it is recognized as a kill; in a cover-based game like Blood Stone, having an instant kill notification is absolutely crucial. Going out of cover longer than necessary can be fatal, therefore it is imperative to know if a shot is a kill shot instantly. The slight time lag can cause you to chase a kill longer than necessary, opening you up to counter kills while out of cover.
