Tips for writing articles: titles and tags

I am going to share with you some article writing tips that will help you turn your great articles into fantastic articles. Many people write great content with great catchy titles, but they are missing a trick when it comes to ranking their content.

By making some minor changes to your headline and also adding some subheadings, you will see that your articles will perform much better and rank much higher.

You’re not just writing an article or post for someone to read, but you’re also writing it for Google. These article writing tips will help you rank on Google and today I am going to share 3 of them with you.

By the end of the article, you will understand how to write your title, add subtitles and make your URL more search engine friendly. So let’s look at the 3 different components and describe each one.

  • post urls
  • Title
  • tags

post urls – With an article directory there is not much you can do about it, however make sure your keywords are in the title so they are picked up when the URL is generated. With your blog, you need to set up your permalink so that only keywords show up after your main blog URL. This can be configured in “Settings” and click on “Permalinks”, and then simply add this code where it says “Custom Structure” /%postname%/ This will allow you to customize your blog URL so that only the keyword appears .

Title – Your keywords must be the first words in your title, Google reads from left to right just like us and gives more importance to the words at the beginning of the title than in the middle or at the end. For example:

Keep in mind that “Article Marketing Strategy” is my keyword, so I put it at the beginning of the title so Google will give that word more value. This must be done for blog posts and articles.

tags – You should use H1, H2 and H3 tags in your posts, Google will give H1 more value than H3, but it is worth adding them to your post and in different places. The same rule applies to H tags as titles, put your keywords first in the text.

Tags also help break up a post so it’s more pleasing to the eye and your reader doesn’t get turned off by a lot of words. They’re also great to use as subtitles, which will help draw attention to the important information you’re trying to convey.
